communications high school

CHS first opened its doors in September 2000. We are one of five career academies within the Monmouth County Vocational School District. Approximately 320 students attend CHS.

The 80-some students chosen from a very talented pool of applicants are experiencing the highest in technological training at CHS.

Freshman required courses include Technology Studies, (mandatory classes include television and radio, communications technology as well as digital video editing, graphic arts, desktop publishing and web design), Biology, English, Mathematics, World Cultures, Fitness and World Language.
