Havr

Hvar is one of the largest islands in The Croatian Archipeligo. It is a beautiful island full of beaches, hills, and forests.

Hvar is getting a little touristy, but is is still mainly an old fisherman's island. You can take a nice bike ride around the island, go for a swim, or simply relax on a beach; its up to you.

Cuisine

Now the Croatian diet is very different then that of Americans. Its full of fruit, vegetables, and most importantly fish.

Fish dominates Croatian platters. Other seafood is also eaten, but fish is the easiest game to catch (The ocean, remember?) However, it is always delicious!

Adjacent Adriatic

As I have already mentioned, Croatia borders the Adriatic Sea. They have a name for the coast line in Craotia; The Dalmatian Coast (or awesome). With crystal clear water, and pebbled shores, this coast is a most see.

What is that?!?

I'mm sure by now you have noticed this lovely picture here to the right. What is it, you ask? The Croatians call this The Blue Cave, and it is one of several blue and green colored caves. These caves get their unique color from sunlight passing through the entrance of the caves and illuminating the clear water. You can take boat tours inside the caves and go swimming in them. CHECK THEM OUT!
